4 Days of Class, Creative Process, Repertoire, and Discussion

With Anya & Mitsuko Clarke-Verdery, Artistic Directors of MICHIYAYA Dance.

  • Daily Schedule*:

    9:30am: Participants arrival
    10:00-11:30 am: Class 
    11:30am-1:30pm: Creative Process
    1:30-2:15pm: Lunch
    2:15-4pm: Repertory

  • Intensive: $300 for all 4 days.
    Payments can be made in installments.

    If interested in our work exchange program, you can add that into your application. We are only accepting 2 work exchange participants.

Classes: Morning Contemporary classes will be led by Anya Clarke-Verdery.

Creative Process: Through contemporary dance and performance art, participants will work collaboratively with Anya and Mitsuko. Together they’ll generate movement, build phrase work, improvise, play, and experiment.

Repertoire: Learn excerpts from one of MICHIYAYA’s unique works.

Discussion: Open discussions on sustaining your artistry, forming a collective, and more.
